Training for the big challenge

Fridays challenge is probably going to be the hardest thus far, 10 burgers is a lot of buns more than anything and they're pretty dry to boot... thus meaning were gonna have to be drinking liquids, bloating...etc etc... bottom line is its going to be tough. Plus Amy is worried about the health repercussions of eating 10 burgers from McDonalds, lol... but its for "science" so I have to!!

In any case, slightly prematurely, we've done some training and done a 5 burger warm up and its been pretty tough! The burgers are sooo unbelievably dry that swallowing becomes the challenge rather than the quantity. We even had BBQ sauce, but the McDs stuff is amazingly acidic after using on a few mouthfuls, the back of my throat felt red raw. Few swigs of water and I was ok.. but they were like eating cardboard for the most part.

5 took a grand total of 11 minutes... not bad considering I was talking to people on MSN at the time too, and had to break whilst Neil got water. The last 5 would probably take 5 minutes longer so ten in less than 30 minutes is an easily achievable task...the question is whether we want to!

So whilst this challenge is actually possible, we may put it on the back burner until next week/month as we've had a filthy day this week, and I think 15 McDonalds burgers in one week is probably asking for trouble, especially given my stomach! But to mark the achievement of 5 burgers I've made a button... not as many LifePoints (Patent Pending *shakes fist*) but another achievement none the less!
